The submission and peer-review process for manuscripts are free of charge. However, if a manuscript is accepted for publication, the author(s) may be required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) to support publication and operational costs, as the International Journal of Education and Vocational Studies (IJEVS) is independently managed.

Starting from Vol. 1 No. 1, June 2026, the APC is determined as follows:

• IDR 0.00 for domestic authors (Indonesia)
• USD 0.00 for manuscripts whose first author is from abroad (outside Indonesia)
• USD 0.00 per page for extra pages exceeding 12 pages in accordance with the journal template
• USD 5.00 additional charge for a single-author manuscript
• 25% APC discount for international authors

Payment of the APC does not influence editorial decisions. All submitted manuscripts are evaluated solely on the basis of scientific quality, originality, significance, and contribution to the field of education and vocational studies, regardless of the author’s financial capability.

The APC is used to support the journal’s publishing operations, including editorial management, peer-review administration, production, online hosting, website maintenance, indexing preparation, DOI registration, and digital archiving. This policy enables the journal to maintain sustainable and high-quality publishing services for authors and readers worldwide.

Notes

The Letter of Acceptance (LoA) will only be issued after all administrative requirements and payment procedures have been completed successfully. Detailed payment instructions will be communicated directly to the corresponding author via e-mail.
