The International Journal of Education and Vocational Studies (IJEVS) publishes high-quality scholarly research addressing contemporary issues, innovations, practices, and developments in education, vocational studies, educational technology, and workforce development.

Journal Focus

International Journal of Education and Vocational Studies (IJEVS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that provides a scholarly platform for researchers, educators, academics, practitioners, policymakers, and professionals to disseminate original research and critical scholarly contributions in the fields of education and vocational studies.

IJEVS particularly welcomes research that connects educational theory with practice and addresses the transformation of education, vocational learning, skills development, technology-enhanced learning, and the changing requirements of contemporary workplaces.

The journal encourages original research articles, systematic reviews, literature reviews, conceptual studies, and evidence-based studies that make a clear contribution to knowledge, policy, practice, or future research.

Research Approaches

IJEVS welcomes rigorous research employing appropriate quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method approaches. The journal also considers systematic and evidence-based scholarly studies where the methodology is clearly described and appropriately applied.

Experimental, survey, statistical, correlational, predictive, and evaluative studies.

Qualitative Research

Interdisciplinary Perspective

IJEVS encourages interdisciplinary research when the study has a clear and substantive connection to education, vocational studies, educational technology, skills development, or workforce development.

Research combining education with information technology, artificial intelligence, data science, psychology, management, economics, sociology, engineering, industry studies, or related disciplines is welcome when the educational or vocational relevance is clearly established.

Types of Manuscripts

Original Research Article

Reports original empirical or applied research with a clear methodological and scholarly contribution.

Systematic Review

Rigorous synthesis of existing evidence using a clearly documented review methodology.

Literature Review

Critical synthesis of relevant literature that identifies developments, gaps, and future research directions.

Conceptual / Scholarly Article

Well-developed theoretical or conceptual contributions addressing significant issues within the journal's scope.

Out of Scope

Manuscripts may be considered out of scope when they do not demonstrate a substantive connection to the journal's focus on education, vocational studies, educational technology, skills development, or workforce development.

Manuscripts that are primarily commercial, promotional, opinion-based without scholarly support, or outside the journal's disciplinary scope may be rejected during the initial editorial assessment.

Scope Screening and Editorial Assessment

All submissions are subject to an initial editorial assessment to determine whether the manuscript is sufficiently aligned with the aims and scope of IJEVS and meets the journal's basic submission and ethical requirements. Being within the scope of the journal does not guarantee acceptance or publication. Manuscripts must also satisfy the journal's peer review, scholarly quality, methodological, ethical, and editorial standards.
